Reality TV is making a comeback, and Serbs will likely be tuning in to see Rob Rausch and Maura Higgins take on new roles as hosts of "Get Me Out of Here," a survival competition show set to air on Peacock in 2027. The fact that both Rausch and Higgins have already gained popularity through their appearances on shows like "The Traitors" and "Love Island" could draw in a sizable audience, especially given the growing interest in reality TV among younger viewers.
The show's format, produced by ITV America, seems to promise an exciting experience, as contestants will presumably be competing to escape challenging situations. With the rise of streaming services and their increasing focus on reality content, "Get Me Out of Here" has the potential to attract a broad audience. As a culture and media publication, it's worth noting that this trend reflects a larger shift towards more experiential and engaging content.
What's next to watch is how well Rausch and Higgins adapt to their hosting roles and whether their chemistry translates well to the screen. Additionally, keep an eye on the show's premiere date and any sneak peeks or teasers that might be released closer to its 2027 airdate. The success of "Get Me Out of Here" could also pave the way for more reality TV shows on Peacock, which would be worth monitoring for industry trends and audience preferences.
