The casting of Colin Mochrie and Andrea Martin in "Any Way You Want Me" is a significant get for the romantic drama, bringing a wealth of comedic experience to the project. Mochrie, best known for his improv work on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", and Martin, a veteran of films like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", will likely bring a lighthearted and humorous tone to the film. This is particularly interesting given the film's romantic drama genre, which often benefits from a comedic touch.
The addition of these two comedy veterans also speaks to the film's potential for broad appeal. With a cast that now includes Callan Potter, Cobie Smulders, and Iris Apatow, "Any Way You Want Me" seems to be shaping up as a project with a strong ensemble. Rana Strazza's direction will likely be put to the test in balancing the talents of this diverse cast. The film's romantic drama genre suggests it will be competing with other projects in this popular and often lucrative category.
As production gets underway, it's worth keeping an eye on how the comedic talents of Mochrie and Martin are utilized in the film. Will their presence steer the project more towards comedy or will they be used to add nuance to the romantic drama? Additionally, with a cast that includes several up-and-coming actors, like Callan Potter and Iris Apatow, it's worth watching to see how they hold up alongside more established talents like Smulders, Mochrie, and Martin.
